Precision Ag Specialist (Any Depot)

Cornthwaite Group are a leading supplier of global agricultural and horticultural brands; we employ over 140 people throughout our five depots. Our Precision Ag Specialists are responsible for supporting customers with all aspects of the John Deere Precision Ag portfolio. They work with our customers to ensure the technology meets their business needs and delivers economic value, whilst supporting Guidance, Variable Rate Application, NIR Sensors and Data Management amongst many other areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join us.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-field demonstrations and enable daily usage of Precision Ag.
• Perform pre-delivery setup and installation of Precision Ag equipment.
• Identify opportunities to increase technology adoption levels in close collaboration with customers and third party suppliers, allowing the customer to financially benefit from technology.
• Support customers to analyse their data and enable them to make data driven decisions.
• Promote, configure and sell Precision Ag activations and components.
• Actively participate in all shows and events.
• Play a key role in the Connected Support Team to reduce customer downtime by providing support using online tools such as Remote Display Access.

Attributes we are looking for:

• A proactive individual who can work on their own and as part of a group.
• Previous experience working in a Precision Ag role / using Precision Ag equipment.
• Structured work approach with the ability to prioritise.
• Comfortable presenting to a group of people, matching your delivery style to the audience.
• Ability to responsibly operate agricultural machinery on the road and on customer’s farms/premises.
